My first trip to Harbin in 2008 was absolutely amazing. I will never forget the sights I saw there. From the city made of ice to a garden of snow sculptures, it was probably my favorite tourist spot during my entire 7 years there.

It was a little challenging at times, though. The temperature was around -5ºF, and my camera frequently got too cold to function. When not in use, I had to keep the battery inside my glove. I wore 3 pairs of socks, and my feet still hurt from the cold. Also, while at the Ice and Snow World, my gloves even briefly got stuck to my camera!
